Die Lage war, wenn auch nicht sonderlich zentral, sehr schön. Der Balkon war herrlich und die Beschreibung war 100% korrekt.

...sind schon ein paar, zum Teile engere, Treppen die man das Gepäck hochtragen muss. Ausserdem kann es im Sommer sehr unangenehm warm unterm Dach werden. Zum Glück gab es einen Ventilator.

Sehr schöne Region, sehr gut geeignet als Basis zur Erkundung der Umgebung aber auch sehr schön um einfach lokal zu bleiben und zu genießen.

Italienisches Restaurant, auf Nudelgerichte spezialisiert, sehr lecker und gutes preis/leistungs Verhältnis.

Lucerne est une ville très belle et chargée d'histoire dans un environnement sublime. Les vacances là-bas peuvent être très variées : marche en montagne, balade sur le lac, marche à plat au bord du lac, visites historiques, visites d'entreprises (Gäsli à Hergiswil, Ramseier à Sursee). Excellent mélange.

Restaurant sur le bateau qui est au port de Lucerne. Nous y avons dégusté des glaces délicieuses et très particulières. Exceptionnel !

Aller en bateau, montée en funi, marche au sommet de 2 heures, redescente en car postal. Paysage superbe.

Un lieu chargé d'histoire et de l'histoire qui se répète avec l'arrivée actuelle des réfugiés ukrainiens. Hier c'était les français. La Suisse terre d'accueil et aussi une expo pour réfléchir à sa propre capacité d'accueil.

Très calme, bien que situé à quelques minutes à pied de la vieille ville. Magnifique vue sur les Alpes et une portion du lac, avec les remparts de Lucerne au 1er plan. Appartement bien rénové, spacieux et lumineux.

Le carnaval de Lucerne est une folie! Ne ratez pas l'arrivée de la famille Fritschi par bateau, le Jeudi Gras à 5 h du matin. À partir de ce moment, les cliques tourneront sans interruption jusqu'à samedi tard dans la nuit, pour reprendre de plus belle Lundi Gras au petit matin. Mais comment tiennent-ils le coup?

Very spacious and bright apartment for a studio style loft. Loved the balcony with a great view of the old wall. Nice to be able to sit out there in the morning with my coffee or with a cold drink after a long day of hiking/sightseeing.

The apartment is on the top floor so there was 4 flights of stairs to walk up, which is ok except when you have to carry luggage up and down. Also with it being on the top floor it was quite hot at times. Opening the windows helped, but a fan would be nice to help with air circulation.

Overall I was very happy and satisfied with this apartment and would stay here again. It was perfect for our 4 night stay in Lucerne. Great location close to the old town and easily accessible taking the number 9 bus when we didn’t feel like walking.

Luzern ist eine sehenswerte Stadt mit viel Kultur und reicher Geschichte, leider etwas voll und hektisch. Die Lage ist zentral, man ist schnell in der Natur oder in anderen interessanten Städten

The view from the balcony. There is an ever-changing tapestry of colours and views - morning mist across the lake, clouds around the mountains, evening light across the town wall - plenty of scope for the photographer. The immediate surroundings are a grassed area leading across to the impressive town walls. There is a local community sports centre and a farm, not immediately obvious but within only a few minutes walk. With its lamas and long haired cattle amongst others, it is an ideal evening stroll and perfect for children to view. The ease of getting around is key. Although the apartment is in a quiet area above the city and Lucerne is quite hilly, the no 9 bus runs directly from a stop within 5 minutes level walk (Bramberg) straight to the main bus and railway station and lake boat terminus (all co-located) in just 10 minutes. This made the arrival with luggage, shopping and connecting to day trips by rail and on the lake, or just being in the historic and business centre, quite painless (and free if travelling with a Swiss Rail Travel Pass). Alternatively, it is very easy to walk down directly to the historic centre within 10 minutes.

Lucerne has so much to do, with its historic buildings, national transport museum (one of the best we have visited and good for young families too - arrive by boat!) and lakeside gardens. Don’t miss the gletscher garden by the lion monument (much much better than it sounds, very informative about glaciers, but with a spectacular wooden tower to climb, hall of mirrors and plenty more for children to explore). The easy and punctual local bus 9 to the central transport hub allowed us to connect to day trips and use our Swiss travel pass (excellent value if you plan to get around - the tops of Pilatus and Rigi are free with this). We also took a free long day trip to Interlaken/Eiger/Murren area., Families, Couples, Seniors

early spring and part of a 2 centre holiday - we did 2 weeks in the Aletsch Arena/Zermatt, with a full snowy landscape, then travelled by train and lake to reach Lucerne for a city experience, but still with snow capped mountains in view and to visit local essentials like Pilatus and Rigi

Lucerne has so much to do, with its historic buildings, national transport museum (one of the best we have visited and good for young families too - arrive by boat!) and lakeside gardens. A city buzz, but with peaceful car free parts. A great centre for travelling the region, with its main railway station connections.

We arrived from the south by taking a ferry from Fluelen, a 3 hour lake cruise passing Rigi on the approach to Lucerne and very relaxing

Pilatus and Rigi have different characters - Pilatus is dramatic with a steep cable car final approach while Rigi is gentler with a railway to the top, but both must be done if the weather is clear, the views are spectacular and Rigi offers mlles of walking paths.

paths around the lakes are just as scenic as the tougher mountain routes, with good ferry connections back to Lucerne and smaller towns to explore

the central arts museum in Lucerne has a specialist bookshop and comfortable seating to browse and look over the city and lakeside from on high, good coffee too

the national transport museum on the lakeside merits a full day, with a great children's construction site play area, scooters and mini buses to ride; inside as well as the usual real life trains, cable cars, rockets and planes there is a media centre where you can create your own tv programme against 'green screen' Grand Canyon/sky diving/high wire walking backdrops and do a 360 degree selfie to keep online. Fairly expensive, but a special experience and easier if you have a Swiss Travel pass (half price).

Quite location. You can walk about 10-15 mins to train station and 8 mins to shops. There is a bus 3 mins away that can take you to the train station and shops.
