Accessible with your own car, in winter only with four-wheel drive or chains. Or on foot from the Mostelberg mountain station. The domicile has a separate entrance, detached on the Engelstock hiking trail. On the way there would be opportunities to grill at various barbecue areas, or at the Blüemlisberg goat farm there are ice cream and drinks to serve yourself. But restaurants are also open, or simply enjoy peace and relaxation in an ideal world.

Reachable by car "all-wheel drive or chains recommended in winter" from Schlagstrasse, turn into Engelstockstrasse after the Burg restaurant, 4.6 km. uphill. Sleeps up to 10 people.

Apartment in a chalet
The Chalet Engelstock is in a quiet location on the Engelstock slope high above the Schwyz basin. The 2-room apartment on the ground floor with a separate entrance is simply furnished and offers a bedroom for 8 people (1 double bed, 1 bunk bed and 1 gallery with 4 beds). The garden shed directly in front of the entrance to the apartment offers additional sleeping accommodation for 2 people.
Kitchen with a large adjoining lounge, shower/toilet and a large patio, which is partly covered. The premises are ideally suited for family holidays, holidays with pets and for hiking groups.
Active in nature. There is also a new sauna.
The hiking trails in the Engelstock, Hochstuckli and Mythengebiet regions start right outside the front door. Hiking tip goat farm: In just 10 minutes you can reach the goat farm Blüemlisberg. Fresh goat's milk ice cream is made daily on the goat farm - it's worth trying.
Hiking tip Children's paradise, goat path to the goat farm and thrills: To the "Stuckli Jump" (the outdoor hopping paradise for children), "Stuckli Run" (summer toboggan run) and the Raiffeisen Skywalk, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in Europe, illuminated with lanterns on Saturday evenings.
Hiking tip Engelstock circular trail: The leisurely Engelstock circular trail takes about 75 minutes. On the way you will reach various barbecue areas and places to stop for refreshments.
Mythen hiking tip: The 360-degree panorama on the Grosse Mythen is overwhelming and is one of the things you should have done once in your life. Good mountaineers climb the great Mythen in 2.5 hours.
Winter tip In winter you can start snowshoeing directly from the chalet or go on a winter hike on the Engelstock circular trail. A fondue or raclette party, a New Year's Eve party or a bachelor party at Chalet Engelstock are always an experience.
Party room The spacious lounge and garden seating area are ideal for various parties and events and can accommodate up to 26 people. Birthday celebrations, diploma celebrations, family celebrations or midsummer night celebrations - the premises can be rented for various occasions (with or without overnight stays).
Bedroom with king-size bed, a bunk bed and 4 matresses in the Gallery (for total 8 people). There is a Little garden house directly in front of the flat, where you can find two more sleeping places.

The overall rating score of a vacation accommodation is calculated from the simple average of all individual ratings.
e-domizil does not offer any benefits, special conditions, discounts or other incentives for submitting a positive rating or withdrawing a negative one. In general, all customers receive an e-domizil voucher worth CHF 20 for a short review and an e-domizil voucher worth CHF 30 for a more detailed review - regardless of whether it is a positive or negative review.

e-domizil has taken various measures in its rating system to ensure that the published ratings only come from consumers who have visited the respective vacation home. These reviews are marked on the website with "verified customer".
Technical measures
e-domizil sends e-mail invitations to submit reviews after the customers have left the vacation domicile. The e-mail is sent only to those e-mail addresses through which a vacation home booking was made. Using the link in the e-mail, it is possible to submit a rating about the vacation home that was actually booked.
Manual measures
Further manual measures are also used to check that only those customers who have also visited the vacation home submit ratings.
To ensure that the authenticity of the rating and its legitimacy can be verified, ratings can only be submitted in connection with an actual trip/booking as well as the e-mail address specified in the process. The e-mail address through which the purchase was made thus always serves us as a verifiable reference for the rating submission. For data protection reasons, however, each customer has the option of having his name anonymized in the evaluation presentation on the website.
In the event of anomalies or indications that suggest that the rating is not based on experience, despite the above-mentioned technical measures, proof of the legitimacy of the rating submitted will be requested and checked accordingly. If the requested evidence cannot prove the purchase of the goods or the use of the services, the ratings will be deleted.
Ratings from partners
In addition to ratings that e-domizil itself collects by sending e-mails, e-domizil also displays customer ratings from partners through which the respective vacation home can be booked. The verification check for these reviews is carried out directly by the respective partner who collects the customer review.
In the case of reviews where it is not ensured by e-domizil or the partner that all reviews come from such customers who have actually visited the vacation domicile, these are also not marked as "verified customer".

Es war sehr warm, draussen gab es frische Luft. Wir hatten laute Musik und keinen hat es gestört. Alles in allem war es einfach nur Geil!

Sehr Ruhig mit Atemberaubender Aussicht
Wer es ruhig und mal etwas anders als gewohnt mag, ist hier genau richtig. Es hat draussen ein gartenhäuschen zum übernachten - sehr empfehlenswert.
Super Küchenausstattung mit fonduecaquelon und racletteöfeli, tatarenhut und reichlich pfannen, geschirr und besteck. So liess es sich gut leben trotz regen. Schöne wanderwege und gute geissenglace auf dem blümlisberg - mit geissenthemenweg super für kleinere kinder.
Das wetter :-( aber die aussicht war trotz nebel und wolken überwältigend. Die strasse ist ziemlich eng und lang.....

Sehr empfehlenswert! Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und die Lage ist extrem schön und ruhig. Es war ganz praktisch, direkt von dort wandern gehen zu können, ohne das Auto nehmen zu müssen (es gibt mehrere Wanderungswege in der Umgebung). Die Terrasse ist gross und gut eingerichtet; es war sehr angenehm, am Abend draussen zu bleiben und die wunderbare Aussicht zu geniessen.

Das Restaurant ist direkt am See. Man hat von der Terasse aus, eine wundervolle Aussicht auf den See & die Berge. Das Essen ist sehr fein und günstig. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich.
Wunderschöne Aussicht. Der Wander-Rundweg ist Ideal für Familien. Und auf dem Weg hat es für gross 🥨🧀🍺 und klein 🎪⛑ etwas.
Die Familie Hr. und Fr. Gwerder waren sehr Hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir hatten zwei schöne Geburtstage Feier. es war sehr gute Aussicht und ruhige Lage. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und sauber. Empfehlenswert für Familienfeiern ect. Fern vom Alltag zum erholen.
Die Aussicht war schön Mann sieht den Vierwaldstättersee die Schnee bergen und das Tal. Die Nacht war auch schön beleuchtet wenn das wetter klar ist.
Die Aussicht ist unbezahlbar, die Gastgeber jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Es waren tolle Kurzferien. Die Mieterin ist eine sehr liebevolle Dame und ihr Mann ebenso. Am Abend nach dem Wandern konnte man die Seele baumeln lassen bei dem wunderschönen Ausblick. Wenn man nicht auf Luxus steht ist diese Ferienwohnung das Perfekte für eine Familie. Unsere Kinder hatten viel Spass in mitten der Natur. Wir werden definitiv wieder gehen.
